BRITISH HEAD OF SERVICES ARRIVES TUESDAY

Kathmandu, 3 Jan.: Chief of The British Defence Staff, General Sir David Richards, is visiting from Tuesday 3 to 9 Janauary, the British embassy said.
Gen. Richards has visited twice before in his capacity as the Colonel Commandant of the Brigade of Gurkhas
“This will be his first trip since his appointment as the professional head of the British Services.
:He is here to see British Gurkha Nepal’s activities,
including recruiting, and to be briefed on the Gurkha Welfare Scheme’s development projects,” the embassy said.
