FOLLOWING CHINA VISIT, DPM GACHHADAR SAYS CHINESEPM ‘LIKELY’ TO VISIT NEPAL
Kathmandu, 5 Jan.: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs, Bijay Kumar Gachhadar has ruled out any possibility of government change soon, RSS reports from Dhangadi.

Talking to journalists at the Dhangadhi Airport on Thursday, Gachhadar said there was no chance of government change as it was formed for drafting the new constitution on time.

He also claimed the incumbent government has accomplished remarkable works to take the peace process ahead and draft the constitution.

In a separate context, Gachhadar clarified that the visit of the Chinese premier Wen Jiabao was not put off due to Nepal's situation, and added Jiabao is likely to visit Nepal soon at his convenience.

WOMEN PATROLS WORK TO SAVE RARE AND
THREATNED RHINOS IN NAWALPARASI
Kathmandu, 5 Jan.: Women in Agheuli VDC of Nawalparasi have been proactive in the protection and preservation of rhinos through formulations of local-level policies and patrolling, RSS reports from Nawalparasi.
They have formulated a rule to esquire anyone including those entering the village without showing identity, on suspect of rhino poaching.
Women have also started day-to-day patrolling in the village and forest entry points for the protection of rhinos in Gundred Community Forest under the Amaltari Mid-zone Forest Users Committee.
Daily patrolling is a part of our efforts to protect rhinos living in the local community forest, informed Chairperson of Kanchanjunga Women Group, Meena Mahato.
