NEPALI MURDERED IN OSAKA, JAPAN
Kathmandu, 16 Jan.: Bishnu Dhamala, 40, was murdered
in Osaka, Japan, Monday morning, online reports said.
The resident from Banashtahi in the northern suburb of the
Capital was attacked by a gang of four Japanese
Dhamala operated Nepali Bhancha, a restaurant n the city
Two suspects have been arrested and two others suspects are at
large.

UML LEADER SAYS MAOISTS MAIN OBSTACLE TO PEACE,
CONSTITUTION
Kathmandu, 16 Jan.: CPN-UML Secretary Shankar Pokhrel has accused the UCPN (Maoist) of being the main hindrance to peace and constitution drafting processes, RSS reports from Kanchanpur.
Leader Pokhrel made this remark at a workers training organized by UML in Bhimdutta Nagar of Kanchanpur district today.
He also said the reason for delay in peace and constitution making was the Maoists' internal rift, and expressed the view that the party should abide by all the past agreements.
Pokhrel said it was unfair to debate over army integration number and rank, and stressed on national consensus government to reach peace process to logical conclusion. He concluded that the Maoist-led government will not finalize peace process.
Informing that his party has proposed mixed system for form of governance, he also forecasted on the birth of a dictator because of the centralization of power and political instability.
Pokhrel said the state should be restructured on the basis of identity and capability.
