RPP-N BOYCOTTS PARLIAMENT SESSION UPDATE
Kathmandu, 4 Jan.: RPP-Nepal lawmakers Wednesday walked out of parliament protesting cabinet’s
decision this week to remove the bust f King Tribhuvan from Sahid Gate.
The party has announced it will resist government
efforts Thursday to remove the bust to Narayanhiti Museum from the present in front of Bhadrakali Mandir and the General Post Office,.
The party’s four lawmakers staged a walkout.
Party parliamentary party leader Chandra Bahadur Gurung said the late king played a vital role in ushering in democracy in 2007 BS.
He charged government of attempting to rewrite history while ignoring vital issues government should address like corruption and other subjects.

SOUTH KOREAN AMBASSADOR , SPEAKER NEMWANG HOLD CONSULTATIONS
Kathmandu, 4 Jan.: South Korean Ambassador to Nepal Kim Il Do called on Chairman of the Constituent Assembly (CA) Subash Nembang at the latter´s office at Singha Durbar, on Wednesday, RSS reports.
On the occasion, the duo held talks on different issues of bilateral relations and on matters of mutual interest.
According to General Secretary at the Parliament Secretariat, Manohar Prasad Bhattarai, Nembang familiarized Ambassador Kim about the progress made on peace process and constitution drafting.
Bhattarai added that Ambassador Kim assured to provide help as far as possible to make the Visit Lumbini Year a success, to invest in hydropower sector and to provide more jobs to Nepali workers in Korea.
Ambassador Kim also informed Nembang about the upcoming visit of a parliamentary team of Korea to Nepal on January 14.
