FOUR OF TERAI ARMED OUTFIT ARRESTED IN RAUTAHAT
Kathmandu, 10 Jan.; A joint team of Nepal Police and Armed
Police Force (APF) from Samanpur, Rautahat, arrested four persons Monday with weapons and with links to the Jwala Singh group of a terai armed outfit.
They were presented before police in Gaur Tuesday.

SUSPECT TIMBER SEIZED FROM EX-DEPUTY PM
Kathmandu, 10 Jan.: Morang District Forest office on Monday seized timbers cut down from the private forest of ex-Deputy Prime Minister and Forest Minister, Badri Prasad Mandal, after finding them illegal, RSS reports from Bargachi.
Four people were also apprehended with the timbers.
The timbers were caught at a time when 73 logs were being transported from the barricade in Hatkhola, Biratnagar with only 11 logs labeled tags from the forest office, at around 9 PM on Monday.
Timbers loaded in two tractors with the registration plate numbers (Ko 1 Ta 236 and Ko 1 Ta 9454) have also seized, according to In-charge of Prison Security Base of the Armed Police Force, Gaddhan Rai.
