MARRIAGE OF BHAGAWAN TIRUPATI BALAJI TO BE
SOLMINIZED SATURDAY AT TUNDIKHEL
Kathmandu 25 Feb.: The idol of Bhagawan Tirupati Balaji was brought to Kathmandu Friday evening for the first journey outside its temple in India’s from Andhra Pradesh state for a marriage ceremony to be held Saturday.
The marriage will be solemnized at Tundikhel from 9:30 am to 8:30 pm, according to the organizer Upendra Mahato, president of the main organising committee.
“Offerings of money, flowers and worshiping materials is not allowed,” the businessman told a news conference Friday.

“We are organising the fair for the sake of devotees. Our spiritual mission
is to bless the country with peace, prosperity and development,” he added

The statue was transported the Nepalese capital by bus
accompanied by a 60-member team, including seven Indian priests.

A procession will start from Bhatbhateni at eight Saturday morning
,wind through Naxal, Dilli Bazaar and Putalisadak to Tundikhel.

MPRF-R CENTRAL COMMITTEE MEET CONTNUES SATURDAY
Kathmandu, 24 Feb.: MPRF-R continues its central committee for the
third consecutive day Saturday after lending moral support Friday to former Communication Minister Jayaprakash Prasad Gupta who was convicted for corruption n a Rs.83 million corruption with a 18-month jail term.
After deciding Friday to continue in government, the party hasn’t yet announced Gupta’s replacement
Gupta, who entered party politics by joining NC has attempted to give a political colour by linking his conviction and imprisonment with a Madesh andolan or movement.
