TATOPANI CUSTOMS OFFICE REOPENED WEDNESDAY EVENING

Kathmandu, 16 Feb.: Tatopani customs on the Nepal-Tibet border reopened Wednesday evening.
Local traders closed the border customs office for four days alleging excesses by Nepal Police Inspector Bishwa Karki whose transfer was demanded.
Most of Nepal-Tibet trade is routed through Tatopani
Nepal, Tibet is linked by road through Tatopani; a second road link between Nepal and Tibet is being developed on neighbouring Rashwa district.

14-MEMBER NEPALI CRICKET SQUAD FOR ICC T20 QUALIFIERS

Kathmandu, 16 Feb.: A 14-member squad for the ICC T20 Qualifiers
in March to be hosted by UAE was announced Wednesday by Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN)
Krishna Karki and Chandra Saud are new entrants in the national team;.
Paresh Lohani and Shakti Gauchan have been recalled
Paras Khadka is the captain.
Other members of the squad are:Gyanendra Malla, Sharad Vesawakar, Prithu Baskota, Mehboob Alam, Anil Kumar Mandal, Sanjam Regmi, Amrit Bhattarai, Basanta Regmi, and Pradeep Airee.
Nepal is in Group A and will first play Hong Kong 13 March 13.and
Denmark a day later 14 March.
Nepal will meet Papua New Guinea on 15 March, Afghanistan 16 March,
Bermuda 18 March, the Netherlands 19 March and Canada 20 March.
Four top teams will qualify for the ICC T20 World Cup.
