Kathmandu, 19 Feb.: Maoist Chairman Prachanda and former Prime Minister and senior UML leader Madhav Kumar Nepal held
discussions at the latter’s residence Sunday.
They discussed national consensus government and other current issues.
among other contemporary political issues.
The meeting comes ahead of a Maoist standing committee meeting Sunday which will also discuss a consensus government.
Nepal is a firm critic of the Maoists and the government led by it.

50, 855 BHUTANESE REFUGEES RESETTLED IN USA; 11,000 SHOW NO INTEREST IN THIRD COUNTRY RESETTLEMENT

Kathmandu, 19 Feb.: Altogether 60,428 Bhutanese refugees from camps in Jhapa and Morang have been resettled in third countries from 2008, UNHCR said.
The USA has accepted 50, 855 refugees while only 111 have resettled in United Kingdom.
Eleven thousand refugees haven’t shown interest in third country resettlement.
