EXCAVATOR SET ON FIRE
Kathmandu, 25 March: An excavator was set on fire at Rapti River bank, at the bordering area of Hetauda-9 and Padampokhari-1 on Sunday morning.
The excavator (Na 1 Ka 2295) was used by Jaya Ganesh Crusher Industry to excavate raw materials.
According to Police-Inspector at the Area Police Office, Pashupatinagar, Dipendra Panjiyar, the excavator was completely destroyed by the fire.
It is said that a group comprising of three persons absconded after setting fire the excavator on fire.
Meanwhile, Samyukta Jatiya Mukti Morcha (SJMM) has taken the responsibility of the incident. Arjun of the Morcha claimed through telephone that his organisation was responsible for the incident.
He also threatened to take action against those who have exploited natural resources, according to RSS from Makwanpur..
RSS Adds From Parasi: A bomb disposal team of the Nepal Army defused a pressure cooker bomb recovered at Parasi Bazaar in Nawalparasi district, on Sunday morning.
The bomb was found in front of the Bal Govinda Oil Stores.
According to Police, no one has taken responsibility of planting the bomb so far. However, a pamphlet of Madhesh Mukti Tiger Tarai Group was recovered from the site.

MAOIST CHIEF CALLS FOR ELUSIVE CONSEUSUS TIME AT CRUCIAL HOUR
Kathmandu, 25 March: UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Sunday has stressed the need of forging consensus among the political parties, Greatwayonlinereports from Bhaktapur.
Dahal, inaugurating a seminar on ‘Federalism in government’ in Bhaktapur today, said there was no time to debate as the deadline to draft new constitution is approaching.
Dahal stressed the need to sacrifice disputes to solve contentious issues and claimed that the army integration has reached its final phase.
At the same function Dahal said, “Integration process and voluntary retirement process should proceed simultaneously.”
Also on the occasion, the Maoist supreme said central, provincial and local government have been mentioned in the reports prepared by various committees and added that local government will be guaranteed in the new constitution.
