GOVT. , TERAI AGREEMENT WITH FOR PEACE
Kathmandu, 4 March: A six-point agreement has been reached between the Government and the Janatantrik Madhesh-Terai Mukti Morcha (Jhawar Shah group), RSS reports.
As per the agreement reached between Minister for Peace and Reconstruction, Satya Pahadi and Coordinator of the Front, Jhawar Shah at the Peace Ministry today, the Morcha or Front has expressed the commitment towards peace and constitution and to stop indulging in any kind of armed activities.
Likewise, the Government has agreed to deal with the group as a political outfit and take responsibility of the security of the talks team members of the Front.
The Front will also hand over its arms and ammunition to the Government while the Government shall take the initiative to release the Front's cadres in different prisons across the country, according to Minister Pahadi.

PRESIDENT,VICE-PRESIDNT CONSULTATIONS
Kathmandu, 4 March:: Vice-President Parmanand Jha has called on President Dr Ram Baran Yadav this afternoon at the Office of the President, Shital Niwas.
On the occasion, the two held discussions on contemporary issues, according to a press release issued by the President's Office.
