GROUP DISCUSSIONS IN UML COUNCIL UPDATE

Kathmandu, 6 March: Results of discussions in some of 11 groups were completed Monday at the third and last day’s session of the national representatives
Council being attended by 900 plus delegates and observers in the capital.
Group leaders are answering pints raised by delegates on six reports, including political report presented by Chairman Jhalanath Khanal and organization report of
General Secretary Ishwor Pokhrel.
A finance committee reported a Rs.4.1 million shortfall to run party affairs.

ANOTHER FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT FOLLOWS AFTER
COMPETITION IN POKHARA, SIMARA
Kathmandu, 6 March:: Birat Gold Cup Football Competition is scheduled to be held in Biratnagar from March 24. RSS reports from Biratnagar .

According to Chairman of the Gold Cup Organising Committee, Bhim Kunwar, Nepali national teams, two Indian teams and a team from Bangladesh will participate in the competition.

Earlier, the competition was being organised in the name of Mahendra Gold Cup.

Chief District Officer of Morang Taranath Gautam has pledged to maintain law and order during the matches, and full-fledged support for the success of the tournament.
