IMPLEMENTATION OF POWER PROJECTS DISCUSSED

Kathmandu, 25 March: A high-powered political committee of the cabinet Sunday discussed controversy and obstructions ting in the construction of major
hydro power projects like the West Seti, Upper Karnali and other hydel projects.
Ram Rijhan Yadav, pres aide of the prime minister, said this without diving further details.
But he foreign investors to invest in the hydro power sector.
Besides Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai, Deputy Prime Minister Bijay Kumar Gachchhadar, Finance Minister Barsha Man Pun, Minister for Physical Planning and Works Hridayesh Tripathi, Minister for Local Development Top Bahadur Rayamajhi and other ministers attended the meeting.
