Kathmandu,18 March: In an effort to show lop-sided magnanimity, Krishna KC—a colleague of Shamir Dahal, son of Maoist Chairman Prachanda announced Sunday government dole of Rs.20 million released by the Maoist-led government of Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai should instead be directed to victims of families of the conflict.
The move came amid widespread protests from different sections of society and student and youth groups affiliated with opposition NC and UML.
