NEPAL PLAYS BERMUDA SUNDAY IN ICC TWENTY20 QUALIFIER

Kathmandu, 18 March: Nepal plays Bermuda in the ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier in UAE Sunday
The country’s hopes of qualifying for the next round of the tournament are dim with

SUJATA KOIRALA CALLS FOR FRESH ELECTIONS
Kathmandu, 19 March: Former Deputy Prime Minister and Nepali Congress (NC) leader Sujata Koirala has underlined the need to go for fresh mandate to consolidate parliamentary democracy and safeguard sovereignty of the country, as the chances of promulgating the new constitution within coming May 27 are slim, RSS reports from Hetauda.
She said this while inaugurating the cadres' training programme organized by the NC, Makawanpur, constituency-3 committee, in Hetauda on Saturday.
It is time for the NC to lead the government to deliver lasting peace, write an acceptable new constitution and give the feeling of good governance and economic independence, she argued.
Leader Koirala further said the NC cadres should be honest towards the party policy, constitution and ideological values and urged the leaders and cadres to avoid factionalism while working for the party organization.
Some 395 cadres of NC Makawanpur, constituency-3 are attending the three-day training.

member of the board of Nepal Rashtra Bank (NRB).
He was appointed Friday by the central bank.

CAPITAL’S MINIMUM TEMPERATURE 8 DEGREES CELSIUS

Kathmandu, 18 March: Minimum temperature recoded in the
capital in the last 24 hours was 8 degrees Celsius.
Maximum temperature is expected to rise to 25 degrees Celsius.
