PRACHANDA SUB-COMMITTEE GETS 10 MORE DAYS TO RESOLVE DIFFERENCES

Kathmandu, 5 March: Constituent assembly’s business advisory committee
Sunday extended for the fourth time the tenure of a sub-committee led by Maoist
Chairman Prachanda by10 more days.
The sub-committee is entrusted responsibility to resolve differences on themes
for inclusion by 28 May.
Analysts are predicting the deadline won’t be met again.
Top leaders of The Big Three have also been given responsibility to suggest outlets on three themes.
Most of more than 200 differences have been resolved by differences remain on fundamentals with latest open charge by NC Maoists are attempting to impose a communist state in the strategic state between Asian giants India and China.

SHOVAKAR NEUPANE CHAIRMAN OF COMMERZ AND TRUST BANK

Kathmandu, 5 March: Shovakar Neupane has been appointed chairman of
Commerz and Trust Bank.
The bank’s annual general meting approved plans to merge with other banks or
financial institutions.
