Gahedhar Monday revealed in Biratnagar a special three-month government security plan to foil attempts against a republic as government encounters difficulties in
promulgating a constitution by 28 May to institutionalize a declared republic amid differences within major political players.
Gachedhar said this in the East where security was reviewed in the region Monday.

RULING MADESHBADI PARTY TOHOLD GENERAL CONVENTION
Kathmandu, 6 March: The general convention of the Federal Sadbhawana Party led by Industry Minister Anil Kumar Jha is to take place in Birgunj from
April 20 to 22, RSS reports.
The party gave information about this at a press meet here on Tuesday. Similarly, a 27-member main organizing committee has been formed for holding the convention.
Speaking at the programme, Minister Jha claimed that the incumbent government would be able to conclude the peace and constitution drafting processes, stressing the need of promulgating the new constitution within May 27.
Minister Jha further said that his party was in no mood to quit the government at present.
"Though our party had played a significant role in forming an alliance of the Madhes-centric parties, the party has been sidelined by the Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha", he complained.
