Kathmandu, 22 March: Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai and members of the
cabinet, President Dr.. Ram Baran Yadav and other dignitaries attended a function traditionally organized by Nepal Army (NA) at Tundikhel Thursday.
President Yadav distributed prizes to winters of various events, including horse
Racing, organized by NA.

UML CHAIRMAN KHANAL SAYS NO POLITICAL DISCUSSIONS WILL BE HELD IN DELHI DURING A MEDICAL CHECK-UP

Kathmandu, 22 March: UML Chairman Jhalanath Khanal flew for New Delhi
Thursday for week-long medical checkup.
No political discussions will be held during his stay in the Indian capital, Khanal said.
Khanal said this as Nepal’s party leaders visit New Delhi
on the pretext of medical check but for political discussions with Indian party
leaders and senior government functionaries.
The UML chief said he had to go abroad for urgent medical treatment despite a party whip not to leave the capital until 28 arch.

CORRECTION ON DANG BOMBING

Kathmandu, 22 March: One person was injured when a bus was bombed in
Tulsipur, Dang, Thursday, police said.
It wasn’t known who planed the device.
