UPDATE SCHEDULED MEETING OF MAOIST STANDING COMMITTEE NOT HELD

Kathmandu, 1 March: A scheduled meeting of UCPN (Maoist)
wasn’t held and another date for the meet wasn’t announced
Thursday.
The party said because of the busy schedule of leaders and the
extended duration of a Big Three summit, top leaders wouldn’t be able to attend.

Scheduled meetings are frequently postponed or doesn’t meet amid
deep differences in the party leading the government.
