YCL ACTIVISTS ATTACKED IN KAVRE
Kathmandu, 1 March : Unidentified assailants attacked Rajesh Lama district member of the Young Communist League, Kavre. RSS reports from Banepa.

He has his both legs and one hand broken and deep wounds on the head and chest.

He was attacked at Ashapuri of Sanga of the district by an unknown group by hitting with a sharp weapon, said YCL Kavre.

One Karma Lama has also been injured in the incident.

Injured Lama is undergoing treatment in B and B Hospital in Lalitpur. Meanwhile, YCL Kavre has, issuing a press statement, demanded action on the guilty.

YCL Kavre Chairman Madansingh Tamang has warned of taking to the streets if action is not taken against the guilty.

UPDATE FORMER KING IN BIRATNAGAR

Kathmandu, 1 March: Former King Gyanendra arrived in Biratnagar en route
to Jhumka, Sunsari Thursday by a regular Buddha Air flight.
He’ll attend a religious function in Sunsari.
Shah was greeted by supporters in the hometown of BP Koirala immediately
after alighting from the capital.
