AGREEMENT BETWEEN MANAGEMENT AND WORKERS AT SURYA NEPAL
Kathmandu, 24 April: Agreement was reached Monday between
management and workers of Surya Nepal ending a mpnth-long disruption
of work.
“Workers gave up some demands as we did,” said Senior Vice-president
Rabi KC.

ADBL NET PROFIT JUMPS 25 PERCENT
Kathmandu, 24 April: Net profit of Agriculture Development Bank Ltd. (ADBL) in 2010/11 jumped 25 percent to Rs.2.36 billion, the bank said.
The bank has a network of 243 outlets.

NEPAL PROMOTION EXHIBITION IN LOS ANGELES, BOSTON
Kathmandu, 24 April: Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCC) is ollllding a Nepal Promotion Exhibition 2012 in Los Angeles 27 to 29 April and
Boston 11 to 12 May.
The exhibition is to promote Nepal Investment Year 2012/13 and push
Nepali exports in USA.

IOC WAIVING COMMISSION AND EXCISE DUTY
Kathmandu, 24 April Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) is waiving
commission and excise duty of POL exports to Nepal, Nagarik reports.
Thus was decided by a recent meeting of the board.
A IOC delegation is coming Friday to sign an agreement.
