Kathmandu, 4 April: Yadav Paudel has stab injuries in the neck and murdered at a
hotel near the Birtamodh bus park. and was stabbed in his neck
Twelve persons have been arrested, including hotelier Yubaraj Giri.POliin a hotel at Birtamod Bus Park.
Paudel was a resident of Southa VDC, Morang residing in Jhapa.
The body has being taken hospital for postmortem,
Bruised body was recovered from Birtamodh bus park.
He was 40.
Paudel is survived by a wife and a son.

SPECIAL COURT HEARING ON IGP ACHYUT KHAREL CASE WEDNESDAY
Kathmandu, 4 April: A special court is scheduled to hear and possibly give a verdict on a CIAA corruption charge against former IGP Achyut
Kharel Wednesday one day after the court convicted his successor Motilal Bohara on the same charge.
Kharel has been charged in a Rs.13.6 million case.
Supreme court asked the lower court to reconsider what was described as a faulty decision of the court dismissing charges against them on a technicality.
Supreme court revived corruption charge after nine years and convicted Communication Minister Jayaprakash Prasad Gupta for corruption and jailed him.
The apex court has reopened corruption charges against top civil servants and politicians
Former IGPs Om Bikram Rana, Hem Bahadr Gurung and
Ramesh Chand Thakur have been convicted of corruption while procuring logistics for police peacekeepers with the UN in Darfur, Sudan.

CAPITAL RECORDS 6.8MM RAINFALL
Kathmandu, 4 April: Sunshine greeted Kathmanduites Wednesday
morning after Tuesday’s hail and rain.
Altogether 6.8mm rainfall was recorded in the
capital Tuesday when weather suddenly deteriorated with hail, rin and thunderstorm.
Day turned into night.
Flights were held up for three hours at TIA Tuesday because of bad weather.
Storms caused widespread damage in the far-West.
