Kathmandu, 10 April; Nepal Army teams reached seven cantonments to
oversee 9,900 plus Maoist fighters and their containerized weapons Tuesday.
An emergency meeting of a special committee chaired by Prime
Minister Baburam Bhattarai, who is vice-chairman of (UCPN Maoist) took
the decision on instructions of Chairman Prachanda perceiving run-over of
cantonments and satellite camps and weapons by dissident Maoists.
In fast moving developments, the premier held consultations with Army
Chief Gen. Chatraman Singh Gurung.
Integration was to be completed by Thursday.
