MAOIST STANDING COMMITTEE DECIDED TO PRIORITIZE CONSTITUTION DRAFTING

Kathmandu, 12 April: A Maoist standing committee met decided Thursday
to concentrate attention now on concentration drafting.
Chairman Prachanda and Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai represented separate reports at the meeting which also discussed protests by theMohan Baidhaya faction..

TASK FORCE TO DISCUSS TECHNICALITIES FOR MAOIST INTEGRATION MEETS AGAIN FRIDAY FOR FINAL DECISION

Kathmandu, 12 April: A task force to discuss technicalities for integration of former Maoist fighters held first discussions Thursday after formation by a special committee for integration and supervision charged ex-officio by the premier Wednesday.
No agreement was reached.
“We’ll meet again tomorrow for a final decision,” NC member Dr,
Minendra Rijal said.
Representatives of Maoists, NC, UML and TMLP of a Madesh group are in thebody.
