ONLY 3,869 FORMER PLA FIGHTERS HAVE OPTED TO JOIN NEPAL ARMY
Kathmandu, 17 April: Until Tuesday,3,869 former Maoist fighters opted to join
Nepal Army where there are 6,500 openings.
The number will come down further as regrouping hasn’t been completed at a Maoist division in Kailali.
Altogether 5,800 former PLA fighters have opted for voluntary retirement.

7,000 LITERS OF ILLICIT LIQUOR DESTROYED
Kathmandu, 17 April: More than 7,000 liters of illicit: liquor distilled from clothes, plastic as were destroyed by teams of the Revenue Intelligence Department during raids of houses in Jorpati area Tuesday.
Teams broke locks to enter lhouses and destroy the killer brew,

GAINS IN STOCK MARKET NOT SUSTAINED
