TOP PARTY LEADERS AND PM SUMMONED BY CA COMMITTEE TO DISCUSS TERM EXTENSION OF A BODY TO COMPLETE CONSTITUTION.

Kathmandu, 5 April Top party leaders and Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai have been summoned by the business advisory committee of the constituent assembly (CA) at 11.30 in the morning Thursday to discuss a request by main constitution drafting committee for another term extension to of a Prachand sub-committee to resolve differences on themes for inclusion in-a constitution.
The business committee didn’t automatically extend the tenure following; no result was forthcoming in five extensions in 50 days.
The sub-committee is asking for a progress report from the Prachanda sub-committee which has representatives of major parties as members.
Only 53 days to promulgate a constitution.

AIG KOSH RAJ WANTA ASSIGNED RESPONSIBILITY OF APF IGP

Kathmandu, 5 April: APF IGP Shailendra Kumar Shrestha is going on leave preparatory to retirement.
Home Ministry approved his leave Wednesday.

IDOL OF MACHINDRANATH TAKEN BACK TO KEL TOLE FROM LAGONdol of

Kathmandu, 5 April: Idol of Seto Machindranath was taken back to the Machindranath temple in Kelttole Wednesday from Lagonchowk where it was pulled in a chariot from Teendhara Paathshala.
The idol was taken off the chariot and placed in a wooden palanquin and carried taken tack following prayers.
