Kathmandu, 9 April: Rashtriya Jana Morcha (RJM) in their phased protests against a federal structure, closed down the Valley Monday,
The protest of the splinter communist group represented in parliament and
constituent assembly, closed down the Valley schools, markets and injustries.
Vehicles were forced off the roads.

BISKET JATPA BEGINS IN BHAKTAPUR

Kathmandu, 9 April: Bisket jatra began in Bhaktapur Monday with the towing of the chariot of Bhairbnath four days before Nepali New Year 2069.
The festival will continue for eight nights and nine days.
The jatra began after the end of the Seto Machindranath festival in the
capital.
