SHYAM SUNDAR GUPTA REQUEST FOR COURT INTERVENTION REJECTED Kathmandu, 26 April: Supreme court Wednesday’s didn’t register a request of NSP (Debi) lawmaker Shyam Sundar Gupta for court intervention to be allowed to attend proceedings of parliament as it prepares to discuss promulgation of a constitution. Gupta has been jailed for abduction and extortion.. The NSP leader continues to be lawmaker even after being charged formally. Nnnn PRESIDENT TO INAUGURATE INDIAN CRAFT SHOW Kathmandu, 26 April: : President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav Friday inaugurates a India-Nepal Crafts Festival in the capital. The festival will continue until 2 May. .and is being organized by the South India Foundation (SAF), in collaboration with the Embassy of India and Nepal Tourism Board. . Nepal Academy premises is the venue of the festival to boost bilateral relation in arts and crafts. Crafts from Goa will be the main attraction. Nepali crafts will be also exhibited. nnnn
