CENSUS OF SWAMP DEER BEGINS
Kathmandu, 18April” Census of the Baharasinghe or swamp deer has begun in Suklaphanta National Reserve in the far-West.
The reserve has the biggest herd of swamp deer in the world.
The count began as the population of Arnha or wild buffalo increased at Koshi Tappu in the East.
