TOP LEADERS STAYING OVERNIGHT AT HATTIBAN RESORT UPDATE

FURTHER DETAILS OF MEET OF TOP PARTY LEADERS AT HATTIBAN RESORT UPDATE
Kathmandu, 15 April: At least 10 leaders are huddled at the meeting in Hattiban Resort which has been booked for three nights by the peace ministry indicating the leaders will spend the night there.
There are no other guests at the heavily guarded resort out of bounds for reporters.

TWO TEENAGE WOMEN KILLED BYLIGHTNING IN ILAM
Kathmandu, 15 April: Lightning killed two teenage girls at Panchayakanya in Ilam Sunday.
They were identified as Sapna and Binu Rai and were relatives.
Their house was also destroyed.
They were aged 15 and 13 years.

MAOIST DISQUALIFIED STATE SIT-IN AT PARISDANDA
Kathmandu, 15 April: Maoist combatants disqualified by UNMIN and sent out of lcamps and cantonments staged a sit-in in front of party headquarters at Parisdanda in the capital Sunday.
They are demanding compensation equivalent to golden handshake received by
former fighters who went on voluntary retirement.
Such fighters got minimum Rs 400,000.

MMC BEATS SHAWASHWATI CLUB UPDATE
Kathmandu, 15 April: Manang Marshyangdhi Club (MMC) beat Sharashwati
Club 2-0 in Sunday’s second match of the British Gurkha Football Knockout
Tournament in the capital.
APF won the first match.
