The terai-based party is pushing regional demands in the government headed by Maoists.

of the Congress and President of All China Women’s Federation (Vice-Premier Level).
Host Deputy Speaker Purna Kumari Subedi welcomed the delegation on arrival for a five-day goodwill visit.
The delegation will call on the President, the Prime Minister, Constituent Assembly Chair and the Vice-Chairperson, the Deputy Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister.
The delegation will also hold discussions with the Minister for Women, Children and Social Welfare and women lawmakers.

LAST MINUTE DIFFERENCES SURFACE IN SPECIAL COMMITTEE
Kathmandu, 3 April: The meeting of the Army Integration Special Committee (AISC) Monday endorsed in principle the plan of action on army integration leaving two issues namely period of training and composition of the selection committee to decide in its meeting scheduled for Wednesday morning, Nandalal Tiwari reports in The Rising.
"The work plan has been in principle passed by the meeting. All the things will move ahead on the basis of the 7-point agreement. We will decide on training period on Wednesday after holding discussion with the Army," Barsha Man Pun, Finance Minister and an AISC member representing UCPN-Maoist, informed the reporters after the 4-hour long meeting ended at 11:15 pm in Singha Durbar.
Pun said that the main issues related to vacating the cantonments of the Maoist PLA by April 12 were decided.
He said the number and individuals for the selection committee would be fixed in the next meeting. "As this is not recruitment but an integration process, the composition of the selection committee is needed to be accordingly."
On period of the basic training for the officer level and the soldier level, he cited the NA proposal that said it would be tentatively 7 and 5 months respectively. "But we have to hold discussions with NA for any adjustment."
He said rank would be determined before the training to be given by the NA. "If a PLA member opts for voluntary retirement before the training starts, he or she will have the opportunity. But, once they enter the training, everything goes as the military act."
Asked about what failed them to endorse the work plan practically, Pun said, "As long as there were leaders, nothing of mentioning the 7-point agreement in each point of the action plan was talked, but once they left the meeting, such issues were raised."
CPN-UML leader and AISC member Bhim Rawal blamed the main ruling party for hesitating to mention the 7-point pact in the action plan and thus forcing the meeting to postpone.
He even said that Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai assured the UML that he would reject the statement made on Monday by his personal aide that blamed the UML for obstructing the peace process.
The AISC meeting on Monday was unique in that Maoist chief Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ UML senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal and Nepali Congress general secretary Krishna Sitaula were consulted for three hours a the PM office before the meeting formally commenced at 10 pm.
"We have taken all the necessary decisions. Everything has been concluded now," Prachanda had told the journalists emerging from the meeting.
NC leader Situala had said that the method, process and action plan for army integration was agreed upon and that the AISC meeting would formalize it by making the decisions on it.
"All the disputed technical aspects that we discussed and decided today had already been agreed upon in the political level earlier. The action plan has been endorsed as per the 7-point agreement," Sitaula said.
However, the meeting could not endorse the action plan as expected by Prachanda and Sitaula as the AISC members differed over period of training and the composition of the selection team.
