UML SENSITIVE TO MADESH ISSUES SAYS CHAIRMAN

Kathmandu, 7 April: Chairman of the CPN-UML, Jhala Nath Khanal has said that the UML has always been serious regarding the issues related to Madhes, RSS reports.

In a telephonic conversation with UML party cadres and civil society members from Sarlahi district on the second day of the process to collect opinions over the peace and constitution, Khanal also termed those calling the UML anti-Madhes were guided by parochialism

On the occasion, he said the people from Terai region have played a vital role to in building party organisation and added that the UML has been sensitive on nationalism, livelihood, and the issues regarding the Madhesi people as well.
