TWO PERSONS INJURED IN SYAMBHU SHOOTING
Kathmandu, 4 April: Two persons were injured in a shootout between police and in Syambhu Wednesday.
Police were on the lookout for dugs peddlers.

UPDATE NO AGREEMENT ON MAOIST INTEGRATION
Kathmandu, 4 April: A special committee meet chaired by Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai Wednesday agreed on a workplan prepared by the secretariat for itegration of former Maoist fighters.
But agreement on technicalities was elusive as in the last meeting this week.
The process has to be completed by 12 April to complete peace.
Chairman Prachanda and UML leader Madhav Kumar Nepal attended the meeting although they aren’t members .
NC and UML attempted to forge a common approach before the meeting and agreed a 7-point agreement would be the basis for agreements at the special committee.

BAIDHAHYA FACTION SUBMITS 22 POINT SUGGESTIONS TO LAWMAKERS
Kathmandu, 4 April: A faction of Mohan Baidhahya in UCPN (Maoist) Wednesday staged a gathering in front of parliamnt’s premises Wednesday.
The group handed over 22-point proposal for people’s peace and constitution.

NEPALI KILLED IN USA WHILE JUMPING OUT OF MOVING CAR
DRIVEN BY WIFE
Kathmandu, 4 April: A Nepali citizen, currently in the US, died after he reportedly jumped off a running car that his wife was driving, RSS reports.
Dinesh Shrestha was living in the US since the past ten years. He jumped off the car following a quarrel with his wife, who was in the drivers' seat, the family sources said.
Shrestha died while undergoing treatment at a local medical centre.
His first wife and two sons are in Nepal.

ADD US DIPLOMAT, PARACHANDA MEET
Kathmandu, 4 April: Visiting U.S. Under Secretary for Political Affairs Wendy R. Sherman on Wednesday held discussions with Maoist Chairman Prachanda.
They discussed the latest progress, army integration and constitution writing, according to Krishna Bahadur Mahara.
