2 DOZEN VEHICLES VANDALLZED DURING BANDH UPDATE Kathmandu, 20 : More than two dozen vehicles were vandalized nation-wide during Sunday’s bandh. At least10 vehicles were smashed in Nawalparasi by protestors objecting to only 11 provinces declared by the Big Three. In the capital, press and tourist cars, buses were attacked. Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai regretted the violence. MORE RAUTES DEMAND FOREST STATE Kathmandu, 20 May: Rautes, the country’s only nomadic tribe of 131 people, demanded a forest for themselves. They presented a memorandum to Speaker Subash Nemwang in Tulsipur, Dang, Sunday. Rautes live off the forest. nnnn
