ADD TO POLITICAL DEVELOPMENTS Kathmandu, 27 May: An agreement was reached Sunday between major parties and a caucus of Janajati lawmakers who agreed to mixed provinces abandoning position of single ethnic provinces to pave the way for an agreement of a federal structure—a hurdle so far in promulgating a costitution. Parties went to Singha Durbar to brief Chairman Subash Nemwang following the agreement. Local officials in the capital banned the sale of alcohol from five in the afternoon until further notice and assured people through megaphone a curfew won’t be slapped.
