AFTER MEETING OF GOVT COALITION, MINISTER RAJ KISHORE YADAV SAID
GOVT. WON’T BE DISSOLVED
Kathmandu, 3 May:: The coalition partners in the government, the Unified CPN-Maoist and the United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) today [Thursday] held discussions regarding the agreement forged among the major political parties for the formation of national unity government and
constitution writing, RSS reports.
The meeting was held at the Prime Minister's Official Residence, Baluwatar.The meeting decided to move ahead by making maximum efforts to give a shape of national consensus to the present government and move ahead with full responsibilities to facilitate for the formation of the national unity government, leaders present at the meeting told reporters.
Talking to the journalists after the meeting, Officiating Chairman of the Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (Republican) and Minister for Information and Communication, Raj Kishore Yadav, said the present government would not be dissolved but would be changed into the national unity one.
He said this government would promulgate the new constitution."Our serious attention has been drawn over the news published in different media. This government will not dissolve. It is completely untrue," he added.Minister Yadav said, "Neither this government will tender its resignation nor will it dissolve." He added that the Bhattarai-led government would promulgate the constitution and the Nepali Congress and CPN-UML will join the government by reshuffling the cabinet.Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal told in the meeting that no agreement was made with other major political parties as disseminated in media, Minister Yadav quoted Dahal as saying.Different media have disseminated news on Thursday stating that major political parties on Wednesday had agreed to give a shape of national unity government to the Bhattarai-led government by forging consensus in contentious issues of constitution writing and to form the new national unity government during the time of constitution's promulgation.

FIRE CAUSES MASSIVE DESTRUCTION IN PARBAT
Kathmandu, 3 May: A massive fire that started at 3:00 pm on Wednesday at Kapase Community Forest of Pakuwa VDC-7 in Parbat district has not been brought to control yet. At least 50 houses have been at risk due to the fire, locals said, RSS reports from Parbat..
A large number of security personnel have reached the fire site after locals' attempts to douse the fire turned futile. Police said that a large number of local people and over 90 security personnel including Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and Nepal Army have been deployed to put out the fire.
Police Inspector Bijay Pandit said the fire has caught the center of the community forest. Some days ago, a heavy fire had caught the Badagaun Community Forest, destroying six hectares of forest
land.
