ANOTHER GROUP ANNOUNCES STRIKE, PROTEST
Kathmandu, 2 May: Another group Wednesday announced protest and strike as only 25 days remain to promulgate a constitution.
The Broader Madhesi Front (BMF) coordinator and Chairman of MJFN Upendra Yadav announced the agitation by the group of lawmakers from parties in parliament.
Yadav demanded a constitution that guarantees a federation
with Madhesi rights.
The front will conduct interaction programmes, torch rallies,
corner meetings and shutdowns mainly in urban areas in the terai.
A general strike and Madhes banda has been called 15, 18 and 19
May.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai through a statement Wednesday asked groups to refrain from strikes and come for talks to address demands.

JANAKPUR ROCKED BY A BOMB EXPLOSION AGAIN
Kathmandu, 2 May: Nobody was injured when a bomb exploded next to Ra Janaki Mandir Wednesday two days after Monday’s blast that killed five persons and injured more than 30 others.
The fresh explosion spread terror and panic.
