CA MEET AGAIN POSTPONED UNTIL MONDAY UPDATE
Kathmandu, 13 May: Today's [Sunday’s] meeting of the Constituent Assembly (CA) was put off by pasting a notice citing special reason, RSS reports.
The CA meeting has been affected after political parties could not forge consensus on the disputed issues of the constitution writing including federal system, form of governance, electoral system, among others, and non-implementation of the five-point agreement signed among political parties on formation of national consensus government.
Earlier too, a total of nine CA meetings scheduled in different dates were also put off by pasting notices.
The 123rd CA meeting is scheduled for May 14 at 1:00 pm, according to the Parliament Secretariat.

DISPUTED ISSUES REARRANGED BYPRACHANDA SUB-COMMITTEE
Kathmandu, 13 May: The dispute resolution subcommittee of the Constitutional Committee on Sunday rearranged the disputed issues of constitution writing and prepared a report in a way to have clear-cut response on the issues while presenting in the Constituent Assembly for final decision, RSS reports.
The rearranged issues are - forms of governance, electoral system, judicial system, and fundamental rights out of 117 contentious issues and 30 others related to the constitutional committee.
The subcommittee meeting coordinated by the coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal rearranged these issues for the first round considering the time constraint.
The rearranged disputed issues would be sent to the Constitutional Committee today.
Similarly, the subcommittee decided to rearrange the disputed issues relating to state restructuring from the next meeting.
The subcommittee meeting was attended by all of its members, Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai, Chairman of the Constituent Assembly Subash Nembang and CPN-UML Chairman Jhalanath Khanal.
