DEATH TOLL IN SETI FLASH FLOOD INCREASES TO 28
Kathmandu, 11 May: Death toll last Saturday’s flash flood on Seti river in Kaski has increased to 28.
A body part that was recovered Thursday has been identified and returned to loved ones.
Twenty-one dead have been identified and body parts of unidentified persons are kept at the Western Regional Hospital in Pokhara
More than 40 persons are still missing as search teams continue to trace them.

FORMER ARMY CHIEF GUNA SHUMSHERE RANA DEAD
Kathmandu, 11 May: Former Army Chief Guna Shumshere Rana died Thursday whle undergoing treatment at Chauni Military Hospital.
He was 92.
Rana was also a former ambassador to China

NT REPORTS INCREASED PROFIT
Kathmandu, 11 May: Nepal Telecom (NT) Friday announced increased
profits for Q3 ending 12 April of the current fiscal year 2068/69/
NT earned Rs.10,081,054, 836 in the period after tax compared to
Rs.6,776,107,035 in the same period the previous year.

TARAGAON REGENCY HOTEL LTD. REPORTS REDUCED
PROFIT
Kathmandu,, 11 May: Taragaon Regency Hotel Ltd. .reported reduced net
profit in Q3 of the current fiscal year ending 31 March.
The hotel at Baudha earned a net profit of Rs. 100,807,513 in Q3 of the
current fiscal year compared to Rs.123, 703,841 the same period the previous year.

NIC BANK REPORTS REDUCED PROFIT
Kathmandu, 11 May: NIC Bank reported reduced profit on Q3 of the crrent fiscal year ending 12 April.
The bank earned a net profit of Rs. 263.55 million in Q3 this fiscal year compared to Rs. 355.93 million in the same period the previous year.
