MEETING FAILS TO ALLOCATE MINISTRIES TONEW MINISTERS
Kathmandu, 17 May: A meeting between major coalition partners with Prime MINister Baburam Bhattarai Thursday couldn’t allocate ministries to new ministries who joined government this week.
UML and some representatives joined the government this week expanding the BHattarai government,
UML’s General Secretary Ishwor Pokhrel and Radha Geywali joined government as energy and education ministries respectively,
Ministers of the Madesh Morcha in government for more than seven
months retained their ministries.
Pokhrel has joined government as deputy prime minister as well.
on partners at the PM's residence remained inconclusive on resolving the
issue at a time when ten ministers from the Maoists, Congress and UML are without any portfolios.
The new ministers joined as ministers without portfolios.
