NC TO HAVE COMMON VOICE IN CA, PARLIAMENT Kathmandu, 22 May: The parliamentary party meeting of the Nepali Congress has decided to present the party univocally on the issues of state restructuring in the Constituent Assembly (CA), RSS reports.. Following the meeting held at the Singha Durbar on Tuesday, Vice-President of the party, Ram Chandra Poudel said the CA members of the party who were said to have signed for the single ethnicity-based federalism would also appear in the CA meeting as per the party policy, principles and decisions thereby being univocal about the state restructuring. In the meeting, some leaders had demanded the leadership to come up with clear views about indigenous nationalities, women, dalit and others. Parliamentary party spokesperson, Navindra Raj Joshi said all CA members of the party would have similar view on restructuring of state. He claimed that it was the Nepali Congress that brought inclusive bill and the party was always for the equal rights to the people from all ethnicities, language, class and regions. Moreover, the meeting condemned the recent attacks and threats on media, and urged the agitating sides to be restraint and respect others' rights while struggling for their rights. The meeting also condemned vandalism at the residence of CA member of the party, Bimalendra Nidhi. nnnn
