Simikot, May 17: The curfew, which was clamped in Simikot of Humla district from Wednesday afternoon due to dispute over the formation of management committee of the Mansarobar Higher Secondary School, has been lifted from 6:00 am today. The curfew was ended after no activities that hamper the general security of public places, were caused by both sides and in view of the difficulties faced by the people in the district due to the curfew, according to the District Administration Office. No untoward incident was reported during the 18-hour curfew, though police have arrested three persons for their involvement in provocation under the influence of alcohol, said the office source.
