UML EMERGENCY CENTRAL COMMITTEE CALLS FOR RECALL
OF INDIAN DIPLOMAT UPDATE
Kathmandu, 18 May: Ruling UML emergency central committee has
asked government to take moves to ask India to recall Indian diplomat S.
D. Mehata .
The party took strong objective to comments made by Mehata to local
politicians in Bara and Parsa at a reception in Birgunj Thursday.
UML is the first party to react by convening a party meeting.

12 POINTS DECLARED PROHIBITED AREAS IN CAPITAL
Kathmandu, 18 May: Twelve points in the capital have been declared
prohibited areas where public meetings and demonstrations have been
banned by local administration from Saturday.
Areas around Baneshwor where the parliament. Constituent assembly (CA) meets, Singha Durbar, Shital Nivas and other sensitive spots have been
declared prohibited sensitive areas ahead of 27 May the deadline to promulgate a constitution.
