UPDATE PALIAMENT SESSION ADJOURNED UNTIL FRIDAY
Kathmandu, 17 May: Parliament session that began Thursday was
adjourned until Friday afternoon by Speaker Subash Nemwang.
The first day’s session was adjourned following disruption on meeting by
angry Madeshi lawmakers, including Birendra Paswan.

Kathmandu, 17 May: TMKP Chief Whip Arbind Kumar Shah didn’t specify when TMLP would quit government despite persistent questioning by a television
reporter Thursday night.
He revealed there was agreement with Maoists earlier to form either 10 or14 provinces.
But there was an agreement between the Big Three to form 11 unnamed provincesto facilitate constitution promulgation by 27 May.
