BIGGEST HASH HAUL IN CAPITAL SO FAR
Kathmandu, 10 June: Altogether 2,640kg hash worth Rs.3.2 million – the biggest so far in the capital, and hidden in 88 plastic bags in a jungle at Sedidebi VDC
was recovered by the Drugs Enforcement Unit during a search Sunday.
Five traffickers, all males, were arrested and made public.
The consignment produced in Makwanpur was being transported to an
undisclosed destination.
Police said Makwanpur district is emerging as a transit hub and a district producng high quality hash.
Drubs are transported from Makwanpur to India and China, police said.
