ENTRY FEES TO SAGARMATHA NATIONAL PARK INCREASED FROM FRIDAY Kathmandu, 24 June: Entry fees to Sagarmatha National Park have been increase from Friday, Annapurna Post reports. Visitors from SAARC region will now pay Rs.1,500 per person while visitors from other countries will each pay Rs.3,000. Porters will be for the first time be charged Rs.20 for entry. Previously, visitors from SAARC were charged Rs.100 while tourists from other countries paid Rs.1,000 for access to the park. nnnn
