Kathmandu, 18 June: Five persons were killed and 15 others were injured
overnight in a head-on collision between a tractor and a passenger bus at Krishnapur in
Kanchanpur
The bus was heading for Dhangadi from Mahendranagar as it
slammed against the tractor.

US ENVOY SAYS GOODBYE TO PRESIDENT
Kathmandu, 18 June: U.S. Ambassador to Nepal, Scott H. DeLisi, who is returning home after completing his tenure, made a farewell call on President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav at the office of president, Sheetal Niwas, today [Monday], RSS reports.
During the meeting, the President thanked DeLisi for his contribution for expanding bilateral relations, states a press release issued by the Office of the President.

FLASH FLOODS KILL CHLDREN IN PYUTHAN; INDICATION

Kathmandu, 18 June: Two children died in flash floods triggered by heavy rainfall here since Sunday afternoon, RSS reports from Pyuthan.
Ten-year-old Keshari Khadka of Liwang-5 and 12-year-old Chet Bahadur Gharti of Bijayanagar-7 died after they were swept away by flash flood in a local stream.
