MADHAV NEPAL ASKS PARTIES TO LEARN FROM PAST MISTAKES
Kathmandu, 9 June: Senior leader of CPN (UML) Madhav Kumar Nepal today said that political parties should move ahead by learning from past mistakes of their failure to promulgate the new constitution on May 27 despite four years of exercises in the Constituent Assembly (CA), RSS reports from Sundarijal..
Speaking at a programme on the occasion of 19th anniversary of Himalayan International Model Higher Secondary School, Jorpati, leader Nepal stated that constitution of 1990 was prepared in three months but the CA could not draft the constitution on time due to political wrangling. On the occasion, leader Nepal honored teachers of the schools for their continuous service in the school.

PM BHATTARAI SEEKS MEETINGS WITH RAUL CASTRO, HUGO CHAVEZ FRIAS

Rio de Janrio, Brazil, on the sidelines of the Rio Plus 20 Summit, The Kathmandu Post reports quoting a source close to the premier.
Bhattarai leads a Nepali team for a UN conference on sustainable development 20t022 June.
The premier has also sought a meeting with Mexican President Dilma Vana Rousseff.
Clearly, the premier, a top Nepal Maoist leader, wants to maintain direct cntact with communist revolutionary leaders of international fame during the summit.
