NC CONVENES CENTRAL COMMITTEE MEET MONDAY Katjmandu, June 10: NV has convened a meting of its central committee Monday amid differences between establishment and group led by senior leader and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba. The committee is expected to review the current political situation and last week’s opposition anti-government rally in the capitalamid low public response to it. nnnn MAOIST ESTBLISHMENT PREPARE TO MEET SUCCESS Kathmandu, 10 June: The UCPN (Maoist) Newa State Committee has directed its cadres to make the grand mass meeting organized for June 15 a success, RSS reports. Organizing a cadres' training programme at Khanna Garment in Lalitpur this morning, secretary of Newa State Committee Narayan Dahal said the mass meeting should be made a success at any cost as the show of strength has a strategic importance.Secretary Dahal directed the cadres to make the demonstration grand yet systematic. Addressing the training programme, Maoist politburo member Hisila Yami said that federalism with identity and constitution with federalism was not made possible due to the Nepali Congress (NC) and CPN (UML) and added the mass meeting was organized to inform the people about the failure to promulgate the new constitution by the same stance of the NC and UML. She said the programme would oblige the dissident faction of the party for party unity. Yami was of the opinion that the mass meeting should prepare a basis for party unity as well. Leaders of indigenous nationalities community are also expected to take part in the demonstration.In today's training programme, over 200 cadres of the Newa State Committee were present. nnnn
