NEMWANG CALLS FOR POLITICAL DECISION TO END A ‘WORSE
SITUATION’
Kathmandu, 10 June: Former Chairman Subash Nemwang said the country is in a worst situation, the train has derailed and it has to be put back on track.
“The situation is in a worse situation. There is a new unusual situation,
It will have to start from ground zero. The derailed train has to be puy back on trac,” the Chairman who was also speaker of parliament/ legislature.
“A political decision is needed,” he said for a solution to the deadlock and
outlet.
“There’s won’t be legal basis for decisions that ar needed.”
Nemwang added an election for a constituent assembly (CA) declared by government on on 22 November can’t be held without amendments in the constitution.
“But there is no parliament.”
‘The members of the next CA will have to decide. They may accept or reject the decisions of the CA,” Nemwang said in reply to a question what will
happen to work and decisions of the dissolved CA.
‘But the work of the CA is the property of the nation. It is the new CA members who will decide what to adopt,’ he told a television programme Saturday night.

member Maheshwior Dahal. Close of the Mohan Baidhaya faction of UCPN (Maoist) have returned from a weeklong visit of China where they discussed Nepali
politics and intra-party conflict.

POLICE ALERT FOR SEARCH OF UML STUDENT LEADER
Kathmandu, 10 June: Police has written to units of all 75 districts to
lookout for UML student leader Manoj Khatri.
Police said Basanta Shahi, another UML student leader of Amrit Science College unit, was injured last week while being trained to handle a pistol at a room in the campus premises.
First reports said Shahi survived after being hot in his room.
