NEPSE GAINED 4.14 POINTS LAST WEEK
Kathmandu, 24 June: Nepse gained 4.14 points and closed at 365.14 points Thursday at
the end of five-day weekly trading..
The market turnover increased 78.08 per cent compared to the previous last week as shared worth .
Shares worth Rs. 301.852 million were traded; shares worth Rs. 169.508 million were traded the previous week..
Shares of Everest Bank worth Rs. 11,7400,000 were traded through 1,928 transactions.
.Stocks of class ‘A’ companies worth Rs 206.9 million were traded; the volume totaled 68.56 percent of total weekly trading..
The sensitive index went up by 0.18 points.
Hydropower subgroup gained 15.31 points.
Hotel shares lost 18.99 points amid political uncertainty with announcement by government of uncertain constituent elections 22 November.
Commercial, development banks, finance companies and insurance companies lost 7.12 , 5.93, 3.7 and 3.48 points respectively.
